How to read the table
The table lists brokers with max leverage of 1,000:1 or more, highest first. Each figure is the highest-tier account, and the conditions column shows what it takes to get it.
| Broker | Max leverage | Conditions |
|---|---|---|
| Unlimited | Premium Unlimited account, equity under $5,000; 10 trades and 3 lots in a year | |
| Unlimited / 2,000:1 | Unlimited under $5,000 equity after 10 closed orders totalling 5 lots; otherwise 2,000:1 | |
| 5,000:1 | Optimus account, equity under $1,000; other accounts 1:1000 | |
| 2,222:1 | Deluxe and OMEGA; Standard and Pro Spread 1,111:1 below $20,000 | |
| 2,000:1 | Top-up Bonus account 1,000:1; reduced around major news | |
| 2,000:1 | Zero Micro; Standard and Blade 1,000:1 | |
| 2,000:1 | Dynamic, at low equity or lot size | |
| 1,000:1 | Up to $40,000 equity; 500:1 to $80,000, then lower |
Three things to check
- Leverage on the account you’ll actually use. Top-tier accounts may need a trading record (Vantage, Exness, FXGT) or offer fewer instruments (Titan FX Zero Micro has no indices or energies).
- Whether it drops as you grow. Vantage, Exness and FXGT tie their top leverage to equity under $5,000 or $1,000; BigBoss varies leverage with balance; XS.com uses dynamic leverage tied to position size.
- Negative balance protection. The higher the leverage, the more likely a gap leaves you negative. See the negative balance protection comparison.

The trade-off with offshore leverage
High leverage is only available because these entities are licensed offshore (or not tier-1). That brings supervision and a complaints route, but usually no compensation scheme like the UK’s FSCS, and weaker rules on client money. Size positions so a single move can’t wipe out your account.
Notes by broker
- Vantage: unlimited leverage comes with a 0% stop-out on Premium Unlimited; eligibility needs a trading record first. → Vantage leverage
- Exness: 0% stop-out on its main accounts and the lowest average spreads in our table. → Exness review
- FXGT: ECN Zero account, swap-free, crypto CFDs; $1,000,000 liability insurance for all clients. → FXGT leverage
- BigBoss: offshore licences in the Comoros and Mauritius; its zero-cut first draws on your other BigBoss accounts. → BigBoss leverage
- XS.com: XS Ltd (Seychelles FSA SD089) serves international clients; leverage falls as positions grow. → XS.com review

Frequently asked questions
Is 5,000:1 available on every FXGT account?
No. 5,000:1 is the Optimus account, for equity under $1,000 after 5 GT lots and 8 closed trades; FXGT's other four accounts (Standard, Low Spread, Mini, ECN Zero) are 1:1000.
Can I owe money if a high-leverage trade goes wrong?
Not with a broker that applies negative balance protection, and every broker in this table does except Axi, whose SVG clients aren't covered.
Why can't I get this leverage in the UK or EU?
Tier-1 regulators such as the FCA cap leverage for retail clients far below these levels. Offshore entities aren't bound by those caps, but they also give you less protection. See [offshore vs regulated brokers](/en/guides/domestic-vs-offshore/).
How much margin will I need?
Trade size divided by leverage. Use the [margin calculator](/en/tools/margin-calculator/).
