Best Forex Brokers for EAs and Free VPS 2026

Updated 2 November 2026 · Written by Broker Atlas Comparisons Desk · Data checked by Broker Atlas Data Desk

Short answer

Every broker in our table allows EAs on MT4 and MT5. For automated trading, cost decides more than permission: Exness (EUR/USD around 0.8 pips) and AXIORY have the lowest average spreads, and Titan FX states no restrictions at all on scalping, hedging or EAs, with a Zero Blade ECN account. FXGT sponsors a VPS and Vantage lists a Forex VPS.

How to read the table

Every broker in the table allows EAs; the EUR/USD spread column shows the typical cost on its standard account, which an EA pays on every trade. Figures marked “minimum” are published floors rather than averages, so they aren’t directly comparable.

Choosing a broker for EAs

  1. Terms: even where EAs are allowed, some strategies may be prohibited. Check before you buy or run an EA.
  2. Platform: every broker here offers MT4 and MT5; AXIORY adds cTrader. See MT5 brokers.
  3. Cost: EAs often trade frequently; a low total cost matters, so consider ECN accounts. Raw accounts at Exness, Titan FX, XS.com, HFM and Vantage cost about $6–9 per lot round trip all-in on EUR/USD.
  4. VPS: running 24/5 needs a virtual server. Broker-sponsored VPS offers usually need a minimum balance or volume.

Setup steps are in our EA setup guide and VPS guide.

Frequently asked questions

Can I run an EA at any MT4/MT5 broker?

Technically yes, and every broker in our table allows them, but terms may ban some strategies (latency arbitrage, excessive order rates). Titan FX states it places no restrictions on trading style.

Which brokers offer a free VPS?

FXGT runs a VPS sponsorship programme and Vantage lists a Forex VPS in its menu. Free VPS offers usually depend on a minimum balance or monthly volume, so read the current terms before relying on one.

MT4 or MT5 for EAs?

Whichever your EA was built for; MT4 and MT5 files aren't interchangeable. See [MT4 vs MT5](/en/guides/mt4-vs-mt5/).

Do I need a VPS to run an EA?

An EA only trades while its platform is running and connected. A VPS keeps MT4 or MT5 online around the clock without leaving your own computer on, and a server close to the broker's can cut latency. For slower strategies, a reliable home PC can be enough.
