Lowest Spread Forex Brokers 2026: Published Spreads Compared

Updated 2 November 2026 · Written by Broker Atlas Comparisons Desk · Data checked by Broker Atlas Data Desk

On typical EUR/USD averages for each broker's standard account, Exness is cheapest at about 0.8 pips, followed by XS.com (1.1), Titan FX (1.2), Vantage and HFM (1.4), XM (1.6), and BigBoss and FXGT (1.9). How to read the table

The table ranks brokers by average EUR/USD spread on the standard (commission-free) account, lowest first. Gold spreads are in cents per ounce, so “16” means about $0.16. These are typical figures: XS.com publishes its own account averages, and for the others we use averages reported by review sites, which each broker’s spread page links. A dash means no comparable gold average for that broker.

Broker EUR/USD (standard) Gold (standard) Raw account (EUR/USD + round-trip commission)
Exness about 0.8 pips about $0.16 0.2 pips + $7
XS.com 1.1 pips about $0.20 0.1 pips + $6 (Elite)
Titan FX about 1.2 pips — 0.2 pips + $7 (Zero Blade)
Vantage about 1.4 pips about $0.25 0.13 pips + $6 (Raw ECN)
HFM about 1.4 pips about $0.38 0.0 pips + $6 (Zero)
XM about 1.6 pips about $0.35 No raw account
BigBoss about 1.9 pips about $0.32 $9 commission (Pro Spread)
FXGT about 1.9 pips about $0.32 0.5 pips + $6 (ECN Zero)

On one standard lot of EUR/USD, the gap between Exness ($8) and BigBoss or FXGT ($19) is $11 per trade, which adds up quickly for active traders.

How to compare spread costs

Account type How you pay Examples
Standard (no commission) Cost built into the spread Exness Standard, Titan FX Zero Standard, XS.com Standard
ECN (commission) Tight spread plus commission HFM Zero, XS.com Elite, Titan FX Zero Blade, FXGT ECN Zero

Convert the round-turn commission to pips and add it to the average spread. The pip calculator helps, and spread basics explains the maths.

The more often you trade, the more this matters — see scalping brokers and ECN brokers.

Frequently asked questions

Which offshore broker has the lowest spreads?

On standard accounts, Exness: EUR/USD averages about 0.8 pips and gold about $0.16. On raw accounts, HFM Zero (0.0 pips plus $6 round trip) and XS.com Elite (0.1 pips plus $6) are the cheapest all-in.

Can I trust 'spreads from 0.0 pips'?

It's a minimum, not what you'll usually pay. The averages in our table are the better comparison.

Do spreads change during the day?

Yes. They tend to widen around major news and in low-liquidity hours.

How do I check a broker's spreads myself?

Open a demo, right-click Market Watch in MT4 or MT5 and switch on the Spread column. Watch your pairs at the times you trade over several days. For commission accounts, add the round-trip commission converted into pips.

Why do spreads widen at rollover?

Around the daily rollover at 5pm New York time, liquidity providers pause and fewer quotes are available, so spreads widen for a few minutes. Avoid opening or closing positions in that window if you can.
