Updated 30 October 2026 · Written by Broker Atlas Broker Reviews Desk · Data checked by Broker Atlas Data Desk

Short answer

XS.com covers the whole path from cent account to Elite, with five account types. Accounts with up to 1000:1 leverage have no minimum deposit, and up to 2,000:1 is available with a $500 minimum. The XS group lists licences from six regulators including ASIC and CySEC, but those belong to different group companies. We haven't yet confirmed which one serves offshore clients.

Verdict: one broker from first trade to high volume

XS.com’s strength is range. You can start on a cent account with no minimum deposit, then move to Pro or Elite accounts with leverage up to 2,000:1 once you’re trading more.

The group also lists licences from six regulators, including Australia’s ASIC and Cyprus’s CySEC. Each licence belongs to a separate company in the group. The xs.com site itself is operated by XS Ltd, licensed by the Seychelles FSA (SD089), an offshore regulator, so the stronger licences don’t cover an account opened there.

Good for

  • Beginners who want to practise on a cent account
  • Traders who want to move up to bigger accounts later
  • Swap-free traders

Not for

  • Anyone who wants the protection of a tier-1 regulator such as ASIC or CySEC
  • Traders who want fixed rather than dynamic leverage

Account types

Tier Accounts
Preferred Cent, Micro, Standard
Professional Pro, Elite

The two headline conditions on the homepage are up to 1000:1 with no minimum deposit and up to 2,000:1 with a $500 minimum deposit. More small-account options: cent account brokers.

Dynamic leverage

XS.com uses dynamic leverage: the bigger your position, the lower the leverage applied. Don’t calculate margin from the headline maximum alone. Our margin calculator gives you a starting point.

Costs

XS publishes average EUR/USD spreads by account: 1.1 pips on Standard, Cent and Micro, 0.7 on Pro and 0.1 on Elite, where Elite adds a $6 round-turn commission charged in full when you open the position. On one standard lot, $6 is 0.6 pips, so Elite’s all-in cost is about 0.7 pips, level with Pro. Pro is simpler to read; Elite shows the whole commission as an immediate loss on every new trade. On Standard, margin call is at 40% and stop-out at 20%. Details: XS spreads.

Funding and withdrawals

XS’s help centre says withdrawals are typically processed within 24 hours, including weekends, and XS charges no withdrawal fee; your bank or wallet may add its own. Methods and limits are on XS deposits and XS withdrawals.

Bonus

There’s no deposit bonus or no-deposit bonus on XS’s public promotions pages. Instead, XS Trading Miles pays miles per trade that can be redeemed for cash, and XS runs demo trading contests. See XS bonus.

Extras

  • Swap-free accounts
  • Crypto CFDs
  • An XS Mastercard (it has its own page on the XS site)
  • Copy Standard and Copy Pro accounts for copy trading
  • Negative balance protection: XS’s help centre explains that accounts can’t go below zero

Licences

The group lists ASIC, CySEC, FSA, FSCA, LFSA and FSC licences. The company that runs xs.com is XS Ltd, Seychelles FSA licence SD089. A Seychelles licence means the company is registered and supervised offshore; it doesn’t come with an investor compensation scheme like those attached to some EU or Australian licences. Our safest brokers page explains how to check which company you would actually contract with.

Risks and open questions

  • Offshore protection: your account at xs.com is with the Seychelles company, not the ASIC or CySEC companies.
  • Dynamic leverage: the maximum falls as your position or equity grows, so margin needs can rise as you scale up.
  • Spreads on other pairs: XS publishes EUR/USD averages only; check USD/JPY, gold and crypto live.

Bottom line

XS.com is a good fit if you want to start tiny on a cent account and move up without changing broker, with fast, fee-free withdrawals and no bonus strings attached. Start with a small deposit and a test withdrawal, as with any offshore broker.
