Axi is an Australian-founded broker (2007) whose international clients deal with AxiTrader LLC, registered in St Vincent and the Grenadines. Leverage goes up to 1,000:1 depending on your country, the Standard account has no commission, and withdrawals are free and processed within 24–48 hours. Two things to weigh: Axi says SVG clients are not covered by negative balance protection, and it has no standing welcome bonus.

Verdict
Axi is a long-running broker with a large help centre and clear rules on payments. For international clients the trade-off is the company you contract with: an SVG-registered company with no negative balance protection.
Good for
- Traders who want MT4/MT5 with no commission on the Standard account and spreads from 0.68 pips on EUR/USD
- People who value free withdrawals and published processing times
- EA users: Axi’s account table marks EAs and VPS as supported
Not for
- Anyone who wants a guaranteed floor at zero: Axi says SVG clients must repay a negative balance
- Bonus hunters: there’s no standing deposit or welcome bonus
- US, Israeli, Ukrainian and Russian residents, among others, who can’t open an account
Company and licence
Axi’s help centre says it is “registered by FSA” in St Vincent and the Grenadines through AxiTrader LLC (number 4303 LLC 2025). Note the wording: Axi calls the SVG company registered, while it describes its EU company as authorised and regulated. Axi names no SVG authority supervising AxiTrader LLC’s trading business, and mentions no statutory compensation scheme for SVG clients. Treat it as an offshore account: no leverage caps, no investor compensation and, per Axi, no negative balance protection. Background: offshore vs regulated brokers.
Other companies in the group are regulated: Axi’s EU site is run by Solaris EMEA Ltd under CySEC licence 433/23, and the FCA register lists Axi Financial Services (UK) Limited (FRN 466201). Those protections apply to the clients of those companies, not to accounts opened with the SVG company. The same register shows an older company, AxiCorp Limited (FRN 509746), as no longer authorised.
What Axi does offer international clients: membership of the Financial Commission, an external dispute body whose compensation fund can award up to €20,000 per client if a member ignores a ruling. Full detail: is Axi safe?

Axi recommends $100 to start on Standard and quotes BTC/USD from $12 per lot. Swap-free accounts exist in selected regions, and the Axi Elite programme cuts commission for clients who deposit $25,000. An inactivity fee of $10 a month applies after 12 months with no trades or open positions. Details: account types, spreads, leverage.
Funding and withdrawals
Methods depend on your country: cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay, PayPal, Skrill, Neteller, bank transfer, crypto (USDT, XRP, LTC, ETH and BCH) and many local transfers. Axi charges no deposit fees within $50,000 a month by card and similar methods, and no withdrawal fees.
Withdrawals are processed within 24–48 hours, daily including weekends. A strict return-to-source rule applies: your deposit goes back to the method you used before profits can go elsewhere. A negative balance on any account blocks withdrawals from all of them. See deposits and withdrawals.
Bonus
Axi says it does not offer a permanent welcome bonus. Campaigns run from time to time and go directly to eligible clients by email or WhatsApp. Any trading credit can’t be withdrawn and disappears if you withdraw or transfer before the campaign ends. Axi bonus rules · no-deposit bonus
Risks and open questions
- No negative balance protection for SVG clients, in Axi’s own words. A gap over a weekend can leave you owing money.
- Leverage depends on your country, and Axi doesn’t publish a country table; you see your limit when you apply.
- Higher margin requirements can apply to new positions around the weekend close and data such as NFP and CPI.
- We didn’t find Axi’s statement on segregation of SVG client funds on the pages we read.
- The Premium account page gives two different minimum deposits ($100 and $500).
Bottom line
Axi is a sensible choice if you want a well-documented MT4/MT5 broker with free withdrawals and you accept an unregulated offshore company. If a zero-balance floor matters to you, choose a broker that confirms negative balance protection: see zero-cut brokers or safest brokers.
