ThreeTrader's account pages quote spreads from 0 on Raw Zero ($4 per lot round turn) and from 0.5 pips on Pure Spread (no commission). Its official media site adds average spreads (updated 15 July 2026): EUR/USD 0.5 pips on Pure Spread and 0.0 on Raw Zero; USD/JPY 0.6 and 0.1; gold 1.5 and 1.0. On those averages, Raw Zero costs about 0.4 pips all-in on EUR/USD against 0.5 on Pure Spread. The same article also mentions about 1.5 pips for USD/JPY on Pure Spread, so check live quotes.
What ThreeTrader publishes
ThreeTrader Global Ltd (Vanuatu FSC 40430) runs two accounts. Its account pages quote only “from” spreads:
| Raw Zero | Pure Spread | |
|---|---|---|
| Spreads | From 0 | From 0.5 pips |
| Commission | $4 per lot round turn (¥400 on JPY accounts) | None |
ThreeTrader also publishes average spreads in a spread article on its official media site, updated 15 July 2026. The article is in Japanese; the accounts and pricing are the same ThreeTrader accounts. ThreeTrader restricts the United States, Iran, North Korea and Myanmar: ThreeTrader review.
Published averages
| Instrument | Pure Spread | Raw Zero |
|---|---|---|
| EUR/USD | 0.5 pips | 0.0 pips |
| USD/JPY | 0.6 pips | 0.1 pips |
| GBP/USD | 0.7 pips | 0.1 pips |
| AUD/USD | 0.5 pips | 0.0 pips |
| Gold (XAU/USD) | 1.5 | 1.0 |
| Commission (round turn) | None | $4 / ¥400 |
The gold figures carry no unit, and crypto figures on the same page (for example BTC/USD 6.2) don’t either. One inconsistency to note: the article’s text describes the Pure Spread USD/JPY spread as “about 1.5 pips on average”, while its table shows 0.6. We quote the table but flag the difference; ThreeTrader’s homepage also shows live spreads, which we don’t treat as fixed figures.
All-in cost
At $10 per pip per standard lot on EUR/USD:
| Account | Average spread | Commission | All-in | Per lot |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Pure Spread | 0.5 pips | None | 0.5 pips | about $5 |
| Raw Zero | 0.0 pips | 0.4 pips ($4) | 0.4 pips | about $4 |
On USD/JPY (100,000 units, where a pip is ¥1,000), the media article’s own example works out at about ¥600 per lot on Pure Spread (0.6 pips) and about ¥500 on Raw Zero (0.1 pips plus ¥400). On both pairs Raw Zero is cheaper on the averages, but only by about 0.1 pips: if you trade rarely, Pure Spread’s simpler pricing costs very little extra. If the 1.5-pip USD/JPY figure is closer to reality, Raw Zero’s advantage is much larger. Check with the pip calculator.
When spreads widen
ThreeTrader’s media article lists these times (Japan time):
- The early-morning rollover: around 06:00 in summer, 07:00 in winter
- The London open (16:00–17:00) and New York open (22:00–23:00)
- Before and after major releases such as US payrolls, FOMC and CPI
- Monday morning and late Friday
It names the London–New York overlap, about 21:00 to 01:00 Japan time, as a period of relatively tight spreads. Plan news trades with the economic calendar guide.
