AMarkets publishes minimum and average spreads per account on each instrument page. Average EUR/USD: 1.7 pips on Standard, 0.3 pips on ECN (+ $5 per lot round turn) and 0 on Zero (+ $11). USD/JPY: 1.5, 0.3 and 0.1 pips. Gold: 34, 12 and 0 pips (1 pip = $0.01 per ounce). On EUR/USD, ECN is cheapest all-in at about 0.8 pips. Bitcoin trades at zero spread with a 0.04% commission.

AMarkets trading cost: 1 lot of EUR/USD: Standard account $17, Raw / ECN account $8
What 1 lot of EUR/USD costs at AMarkets: $17 on the standard account, $8 on the raw account (spread plus round-trip commission). 1 pip = $10.

Published averages by account

From AMarkets’ instrument pages, read on 2 November 2026:

Instrument Standard (min / avg) ECN (min / avg) Zero (min / avg)
EUR/USD 1.6 / 1.7 0.2 / 0.3 0 / 0
USD/JPY 1.3 / 1.5 0.1 / 0.3 0 / 0.1
Gold (XAU/USD) 32 / 34 12 / 12 0 / 0
Commission per lot (round turn) $0 $5 $11 (gold $20)

Figures in pips. Gold uses AMarkets’ own pip, worth $1 per 100-ounce lot, which is $0.01 per ounce, so 34 pips is $0.34. Bitcoin shows 0 spread on every account with a 0.04% commission (shown as $31.29 per lot when we read the page). These are AMarkets’ own published figures; spreads move with the market and widen around news and rollover.

All-in cost, EUR/USD

At $10 per pip per standard lot:

Account Average spread Commission All-in
Standard 1.7 pips ($17) $0 1.7 pips ($17)
ECN 0.3 pips ($3) $5 0.8 pips ($8)
Zero 0 pips $11 1.1 pips ($11)

For gold, the order changes: Standard averages $34 per lot, ECN $12 + $5 = $17, and Zero $0 + $20 = $20, so ECN is again cheapest on these averages.

How AMarkets charges commission

The account page quotes commission per side for a 1-lot EUR/USD trade: $2.5 on ECN and $5.5 on Zero, charged when the position opens. The instrument pages show the full round-turn amount ($5 and $11). The Standard account pays no commission on currency pairs and metals; other instruments, such as stocks, ETFs and crypto, have their own rates listed by AMarkets.

How these compare

AMarkets is one of the few offshore brokers that publishes averages per account, which makes a fair comparison possible. For reference, XS.com publishes a 1.1-pip average EUR/USD on its Standard account and M4Markets 1.6 pips. See the lowest-spread brokers and, for what spreads and commissions mean, spread basics.

Practical notes

  • Swap is shown on the same instrument pages: for example EUR/USD swap-short +3.4 pips and swap-long −9.8 pips when we read it. Holding positions overnight can cost more than the spread: see swap explained.
  • The Zero account is MT5 only and lists 28 FX pairs rather than 44.
  • Standard is the bonus account. If you take the 100% bonus, you pay the wider Standard spread: AMarkets bonus.
