ThreeTrader describes account opening in three steps: fill in the application form, upload your ID, then deposit and start trading, with registration taking as little as 5 minutes. You need a valid photo ID showing your name, date of birth, photo, issue/expiry date and address; if your ID has no address, add a separate proof of address. Choose Raw Zero or Pure Spread and your currency before your first deposit ($100 minimum).
Before you start
- Who you sign with: ThreeTrader Global Ltd (VFSC 40430) is the company named in the FAQ; a Mauritius company (FSC GB24203958) is also part of the group. Your client agreement names the one you contract with. See is ThreeTrader safe?.
- Restricted: residents of the United States, Iran, North Korea and Myanmar.
- Choose your account: Raw Zero ($4 round-turn commission) or Pure Spread (no commission): ThreeTrader account types.
Step by step
ThreeTrader’s homepage describes three steps, with registration “as fast as 5 mins” and same-day trading:
- Application form. Sign up through ThreeTrader’s client portal registration page.
- Upload ID. See the document rules below.
- Deposit and start trading. First deposit at least $100: ThreeTrader deposits. Then log in to MT4 or MT5 with your trading account details.
Documents
From ThreeTrader’s account comparison FAQ:
| What | Requirement |
|---|---|
| Photo ID | Valid, showing your name, date of birth, photo, issue/expiry date and address |
| Proof of address | Only needed if your ID doesn’t include your address |
Why verification gets rejected
From the requirements above, the likely reasons are:
- An expired ID, or one missing the issue or expiry date
- An ID without an address and no separate proof of address
- A name that doesn’t match your registration
After you’re verified
- Change type or currency before your first deposit; afterwards, open a new account.
- Multiple accounts are allowed; request extras in the client area (CRM).
- Platforms: MT4 and MT5 on desktop, mobile and web.
- Demo: free; expires after 90 days of inactivity.
