ThreeTrader Account Types Compared: Which One Fits You

Updated 31 October 2026 · Written by Broker Atlas Broker Reviews Desk · Data checked by Broker Atlas Data Desk

Short answer

ThreeTrader has two account types. Raw Zero: spreads from 0, $4 commission per lot round turn (¥400). Pure Spread: spreads from 0.5 pips, no commission. Both have 1,000:1 maximum leverage, 0.01-lot minimum trades, ECN execution, EA trading, negative balance protection and a $100 minimum first deposit. Neither currently has a deposit bonus; both earn rewards points.

ThreeTrader trading cost: 1 lot of EUR/USD: Standard account $5, Raw / ECN account $4
What 1 lot of EUR/USD costs at ThreeTrader: $5 on the standard account, $4 on the raw account (spread plus round-trip commission). 1 pip = $10.
Margin level and stop-out. Margin level = equity ÷ used margin × 100. Stop-out 20%
ThreeTrader's stop-out level is 20%: when losses push the margin level down to it, positions are closed (example: equity $1,500 and used margin $1,000 give 150%).

Cost comparison

ThreeTrader publishes only “from” spreads, so a precise comparison isn’t possible. What you can say from the published figures:

  • On Raw Zero, $4 round turn per lot is 0.4 pips on EUR/USD (a pip is $10 per lot), added to the raw spread.
  • Pure Spread starts at 0.5 pips with no commission; its typical spread will be wider than that.

If you trade often, Raw Zero’s fixed, known commission is easier to budget. If you trade rarely and want simple pricing, Pure Spread avoids commission lines on statements. See spread basics.

Bonus eligibility

There is no deposit bonus running. Both accounts earn points in the rewards programme (10 points per lot on FX and bullion). See ThreeTrader bonus.

Which one to pick

  • Scalpers, day traders, EA users: Raw Zero. ThreeTrader itself pitches it at “scalpers, day traders, and other active traders”.
  • Occasional traders who prefer no commission: Pure Spread.
  • Unsure: open both. ThreeTrader allows multiple accounts, and you can switch type before your first deposit.

Leverage limits are the same for both: ThreeTrader leverage. Compare: ECN brokers. Back to the ThreeTrader review.
