IS6FX is operated by IS6 Technologies Ltd, a company registered in St Vincent and the Grenadines (26536 BC 2021). Its site names no financial licence and no regulator, and doesn't describe how client money is held. Japan's FSA warned IS6 Technologies Ltd in July 2026, after earlier warnings to other companies using the IS6FX and is6com names (2021, 2019). On the plus side, all accounts carry negative balance protection. We'd treat any deposit as unprotected.

| What IS6FX’s site says | |
|---|---|
| Operator | IS6 Technologies Ltd (SVG) |
| Registration | 26536 BC 2021, St Vincent and the Grenadines |
| Registered address | Suite 305, Griffith Corporate Centre, Kingstown, St Vincent and the Grenadines |
| Financial licence | None named |
| Japan | “Not registered with the Ministry of Finance of Japan”; service “not intended for residents of Japan” |
The footer of the English site describes IS6FX as “a brand name to be operated by various companies in accordance with legislations and obtained licenses in the respective countries”, but names only IS6 Technologies Ltd and no licence number or regulator. The company profile has a “Regulations & License” heading that, when we read it on 2 November 2026, showed the same company registration and nothing more.
A company registration is not a financial licence. With none named, there’s no regulator we can point to that supervises IS6FX’s capital, client money or complaints handling, and no compensation scheme. Our broker licences guide explains what different licences add.
Regulator warnings
Japan’s Financial Services Agency publishes the names of firms it has warned for soliciting Japanese residents without registration. Its list of unregistered overseas firms, updated 23 October 2026, includes:
| Company | Service name | Warning |
|---|---|---|
| IS6 Technologies Ltd | July 2026 | |
| TEC Solution Ltd | December 2021 | |
| is6com Co., Ltd | is6com | February 2019 |
The 2026 entry notes that the IS6FX name is the same one TEC Solution Ltd used, and that several other warned firms share the same or a very similar address. A Japanese warning concerns business with residents of Japan; it isn’t a finding about clients elsewhere. But it shows that the brand has changed operating companies more than once, which makes it harder to know who would answer for your money. More: Japan’s FSA warning list explained.
Negative balance protection
All six account types list negative balance protection. IS6FX’s margin page explains how it works:
- After all positions are closed, a negative balance is first offset against bonus credit, then the balance is reset to zero.
- Zero-cut processing runs every two hours (on even hours), or immediately when you deposit or transfer into the negative account.
- It doesn’t run while you still hold positions with a negative balance.
So you shouldn’t end up owing IS6FX money, but you can lose your bonus as well as your deposit. Background: negative balance protection explained.
Terms that shift risk to you
IS6FX’s guidelines give it wide discretion:
- It may change leverage and other parameters on all accounts at its discretion and isn’t responsible for resulting losses.
- It prohibits, among other things, cross-account hedging, latency arbitrage, trading only around major economic releases, and “trading in large lots without prior notice”, and says it needn’t explain its decisions.
- For EAs with high volumes it may suspend trading without notice.
- For suspected latency arbitrage it voids all trades and refunds only the deposited principal.
These are common clauses at offshore brokers, but with no regulator to appeal to, the broker’s own judgement is final.
Our assessment
Positives: an English site with clear published terms, a named operating company, negative balance protection, and a published restricted-countries list. Negatives: no financial licence, a fresh regulator warning, a brand that has moved between companies, and discretionary terms. If you still use IS6FX, keep the balance small, withdraw profits regularly (once a month to avoid fees: IS6FX withdrawals), and read how to spot a scam broker. Brokers whose licences we could check are on the safest brokers comparison. Back to the IS6FX review.
