Is BigBoss Legit? Licences, Entities and Our Withdrawal Record

Updated 30 October 2026 · Written by Broker Atlas Broker Reviews Desk · Data checked by Broker Atlas Data Desk

Short answer

BigBoss is run by Big Boss Ltd. (Comoros, brokerage licence BFX2024045) with BigBoss Mauritius Limited (FSC Mauritius, GB20025563), whose name appears on the trading servers. Both are offshore licences. BigBoss has a zero-cut system, but it works differently from most: a negative balance is first refilled from your other accounts, and only what remains is written off. BigBoss doesn't publish a client-money segregation policy.

Zero-cut: negative balance protection: Balance $1,000, Price gap: $1,300 loss. Without protection: Balance −$300: you owe it. With zero-cut: Reset to $0: the broker covers it.
When a fast market jumps past the stop-out and the balance goes negative, a broker with zero-cut writes off the negative amount instead of asking you to pay it.

Who you are dealing with

Company Licence Registered
Big Boss Ltd. International Brokerage and Clearing House licence, BFX2024045 Mohéli, Comoros (reg. HT00324029)
BigBoss Mauritius Limited (business partner) FSC Mauritius Global Business / Investment Dealer (Full Dealer, excluding Underwriting), GB20025563 Ebene, Mauritius (reg. 177175GBC)

From BigBoss’s company page. The footer says BigBoss “is a service based on” both companies; MT4/MT5 server names (BigBossMuLtd) point to the Mauritius company. The public pages don’t say which company contracts with you, so check your client agreement.

Comoros (Mohéli) licences are among the lightest forms of offshore authorisation. FSC Mauritius is a more established offshore regulator, but still offers nothing like EU or UK protection. Background: FSC Mauritius, how licences differ.

Zero-cut, BigBoss style

From BigBoss’s negative balance page, for Standard, Pro Spread and MASS Standard accounts:

  1. A negative balance is replenished automatically within 4 hours from your other accounts: first their cash balance (same-currency and largest first), then their bonus credit.
  2. Only when everything is used up is the remainder zero-cut, at BigBoss’s cost.
  3. Replenishment happens even if it causes a stop-out on an account with open positions; BigBoss takes no responsibility for that.
  4. While any account is negative, you can’t withdraw or transfer from your other accounts.
  5. If positions with unrealised profit are open, zero-cut doesn’t apply yet.
  6. Zero-cut is void if “illegal transactions” are found.

Deluxe and Premier accounts keep an account-by-account zero-cut. The practical lesson: if you hold several BigBoss accounts, a loss in one can drain the others. Keep money you don’t want exposed somewhere else. General background: zero-cut guide.

What BigBoss doesn’t publish

  • A policy on holding client funds in segregated accounts.
  • Insurance, an external audit or membership of a dispute-resolution body.
  • Which of its two companies, Big Boss Ltd. (Comoros) or BigBoss Mauritius Limited, a given client contracts with: the client agreement names it.

What an offshore licence does and doesn’t protect

It does put a registered company behind the service and identity checks in place.

It doesn’t give leverage caps, capital rules or a compensation scheme like those in the EU, UK or Australia. With up to 2,222:1 leverage and large bonuses, that trade-off is deliberate. See offshore vs regulated brokers.

Practical steps

  1. Verify early; Quick Open accounts can’t withdraw.
  2. Start small and make a withdrawal before depositing more. Note the $20 bank fee: BigBoss withdrawals.
  3. Avoid Premier (fund-manager) accounts unless you know the manager: BigBoss says it can’t answer for a manager’s withdrawal refusals.
  4. Use our scam check guide.
