Who IS6FX is for, and who can open an account
IS6FX built its name with Japanese traders, but the company now says its service is not intended for residents of Japan. Its website runs in English, Japanese, Vietnamese, Chinese and Spanish, and the footer of the English site lists who it won’t serve: residents, nationals or companies of Afghanistan, Côte d’Ivoire, Cuba, Iran, Libya, Myanmar, North Korea, Puerto Rico, Russia, Sudan, Syria, Yemen and the United States, plus “any other jurisdiction where we are not authorized to operate”. If your country isn’t named, you can apply, but the last clause lets IS6FX refuse anyone.
Good for
- Traders who want very high leverage (2,000:1 on one account, 1000:1 on most others)
- Small first deposits: $10 on every account, or the crypto equivalent
- MT4 and MT5 users who scalp or run EAs (both are permitted)
- Traders who fund with e-wallets or crypto
Not for
- Anyone who wants a named financial licence behind their account
- Residents of Japan, the US and the other excluded countries
- People who withdraw often: from the second withdrawal in a month, fees apply
- Bank-transfer users: no bank transfer is listed on the English funding page
Company and licence
| What the official site says | |
|---|---|
| Operator | IS6 Technologies Ltd (SVG) |
| Registration | 26536 BC 2021, St Vincent and the Grenadines |
| Address | Suite 305, Griffith Corporate Centre, Kingstown, St Vincent and the Grenadines |
| Financial licence | None named |
The footer describes IS6FX as “a brand name to be operated by various companies in accordance with legislations and obtained licenses in the respective countries”, but the only company it names is IS6 Technologies Ltd, and no licence number appears. A company registration number is not a licence to deal in forex. With no licence named, we can’t point you to any regulator that supervises how IS6FX handles client money, and no compensation scheme is mentioned anywhere on the site. Read broker licences explained for what a real licence adds.
Regulator warning. Japan’s Financial Services Agency lists firms that solicit Japanese residents without registration. Its list of unregistered firms (updated 23 October 2026) shows IS6 Technologies Ltd, service name “IS6FX”, warned in July 2026 for soliciting over-the-counter derivatives trading online. The entry notes that the service name is the same one used by TEC Solution Ltd, which the FSA warned in December 2021, and that several other warned firms share a similar address. A Japanese warning doesn’t make trading illegal for someone in another country, but it tells you how one major regulator sees the firm. How to read these lists: Japan’s FSA warning list explained.
Accounts and costs
From the English account types page, read on 2 November 2026:
| Account | Max leverage (FX, metals) | Commission | Stop-out | Bonus eligible | Platforms |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Micro | 1000:1 (balance under $20,000) | None | 20% | No | MT4, MT5 |
| Standard | 1000:1 (balance under $20,000) | None | 20% | Yes | MT4, MT5 |
| 2000x Leverage | 2000:1 (by trade size) | None | 20% | Yes | MT5 |
| EX | 1000:1 (balance under $20,000) | None | 20% | Yes | MT4, MT5 |
| ECN | 200:1 FX, 100:1 metals | $8 per lot round turn | 50% | No | MT4, MT5 |
| Crypto | 1000:1 (crypto by trade size) | None | 20% | Partly | MT5 |
Every account has a $10 minimum deposit (or 0.0001 BTC, 0.004 ETH, $10T or $10C on MT5), a limit of 30 open positions including pending orders, and a $10 monthly fee after three months without trading. The Micro account trades 1,000-unit lots; the others use 100,000-unit lots. MT4 accounts are in USD; MT5 accounts can also be held in BTC, ETH, USDT or USDC.
On balance-based accounts leverage steps down to 500:1 from $20,000, 200:1 from $50,000 and 100:1 from $100,000. The 2000x account and crypto trades use dynamic leverage by trade size instead: FX keeps 2,000:1 on the first $200,000 of a trade, then 1000:1 up to $800,000, falling to 100:1 above $2.5 million. On the 2000x and EX accounts, the bonus is reset if floating losses exceed your balance, which can itself trigger a stop-out. More detail: IS6FX account types, IS6FX leverage and opening an IS6FX account.
Spreads: IS6FX’s spread page shows a reference table whose figures look like points rather than pips (we have not been able to confirm the unit), so we don’t quote them. The ECN account’s $8 round-turn commission is the one cost IS6FX states clearly. See what spreads are and how to compare them.
Funding and withdrawals
Deposit methods on the English deposit page:
| Method | Currency | Minimum | IS6FX fee | Time |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Visa/Mastercard (credit or debit) | USD | $10 | Free | Instant |
| STICPAY | USD, JPY | $10 / ¥1,000 | Free | Instant |
| Skrill, Neteller | USD | $10 | Free | Instant |
| BTC, ETH, USDT, USDC | Crypto | 0.0001 BTC, 0.004 ETH, 10 USDT/USDC | Free | Within 30 minutes |
Withdrawals go out by STICPAY, Skrill, Neteller or crypto, take 1–3 business days, and have minimums of $50 (or 25 USDT/USDC). The fee rules matter:
- The first withdrawal each calendar month is free. From the second, IS6FX charges 2% of the amount, or a flat $30 if you withdraw less than $1,500. The count resets at 00:00 UTC on the 1st.
- Withdrawing without placing a single trade costs $30.
- Payments must come from and go to accounts in your own name.
No bank transfer appears on the English deposit or withdrawal pages, so plan on an e-wallet or crypto route. Full details: IS6FX deposits and IS6FX withdrawals. Background: deposit methods compared and why withdrawals get refused.
Bonus
On 2 November 2026 the campaign page listed only two offers: 100 IS6 points for verifying a credit card, and a refer-a-friend gift of up to $30 per person. There was no deposit bonus or sign-up bonus running. Campaigns change, so check the page again when you sign up. The Standard, 2000x and EX accounts are bonus-eligible; Micro and ECN are not. Note that IS6FX uses bonus credit to absorb negative balances before resetting to zero, so a bonus can disappear after a bad trade, and any withdrawal request cancels all bonuses. Risks and open questions
- No named licence. The operator is a St Vincent company with no licence listed. Treat money held there as unprotected.
- Japan FSA warning (July 2026) and an earlier warning for the same service name under a different company (December 2021).
- “Various companies”: the footer says the brand is run by several companies but names only one, so it’s unclear which company would hold an account opened from your country.
- Spread unit: the reference spread table isn’t usable until the unit is clear.
- Withdrawal costs rise quickly if you withdraw more than once a month.
Bottom line
IS6FX offers what high-leverage traders look for (2000:1, $10 accounts, negative balance protection) and it does take international clients outside its excluded list. But there’s no financial licence behind it, and a major regulator has warned about it this year. If you use it, keep the balance small, withdraw profits once a month to avoid fees, and read how to check a broker before depositing. Licensed alternatives with high leverage are on the high-leverage comparison and the safest brokers list.

Frequently asked questions
Does IS6FX accept international clients?
Yes, in most countries. Its English site lists restricted jurisdictions (including the US, Russia, Iran, North Korea, Cuba, Syria, Myanmar and Puerto Rico) and says the service is not intended for residents of Japan. Everyone else can apply, but check the full list in the site footer first.
Is IS6FX regulated?
Not by any regulator we could identify. The operator, IS6 Technologies Ltd, is a company registered in St Vincent and the Grenadines (26536 BC 2021). The footer refers to 'obtained licenses in the respective countries' but names none.
Has IS6FX been warned by a regulator?
Yes. Japan's Financial Services Agency added IS6 Technologies Ltd (service name IS6FX) to its list of unregistered firms in July 2026. It had already warned TEC Solution Ltd, which used the same service name, in December 2021.
What is IS6FX's maximum leverage?
2,000:1 on the 2000x Leverage account, for trades up to $200,000. The Micro, Standard, EX and Crypto accounts go up to 1000:1 while the balance is under $20,000. The ECN account is fixed at 200:1 on FX and 100:1 on metals.
Does IS6FX have negative balance protection?
Yes. All accounts list it. If your balance goes negative, IS6FX first offsets the loss against any bonus credit, then resets the balance to zero.
