IS6FX Account Types Compared: Which One Fits You

Updated 2 November 2026 · Written by Broker Atlas Broker Reviews Desk · Data checked by Broker Atlas Data Desk

Short answer

IS6FX lists six accounts, all with a $10 minimum deposit: Micro (1,000-unit lots), Standard, 2000x Leverage (MT5, up to 2,000:1), EX, ECN ($8 round-turn commission, 200:1) and Crypto (MT5). Only ECN charges commission. Standard, 2000x and EX can take bonuses; Micro and ECN can't. Stop-out is 20% everywhere except ECN (50%). You can't change an account's type later: open another one instead.

IS6FX trading cost: 1 lot of EUR/USD: Standard account $16, Raw / ECN account $12
What 1 lot of EUR/USD costs at IS6FX: $16 on the standard account, $12 on the raw account (spread plus round-trip commission). 1 pip = $10.
Margin level and stop-out. Margin level = equity ÷ used margin × 100. Stop-out 20%
IS6FX's stop-out level is 20%: when losses push the margin level down to it, positions are closed (example: equity $1,500 and used margin $1,000 give 150%).

Every account has a $10 minimum deposit (MT5 accounts can also be funded with 0.0001 BTC, 0.004 ETH, 10 USDT or 10 USDC), allows 30 open positions including pending orders, uses market execution, lists negative balance protection, and charges $10 a month after three months with no trading. MT4 accounts are in USD; MT5 accounts can also be held in BTC, ETH, USDT or USDC.

Who each account suits

  • Micro: learning or testing an EA with tiny positions. 0.01 lots is 10 units of currency, and you can hold up to 100 lots per position. No bonus.
  • Standard: the general-purpose account, bonus-eligible, commission-free, with balance-based leverage up to 1000:1.
  • 2000x Leverage: maximum leverage on FX and metals (27 FX pairs and 2 metals), on MT5 only. Leverage depends on trade size, not balance: see IS6FX leverage. If floating losses exceed your balance, the bonus is reset, which can trigger a stop-out.
  • EX: IS6FX’s “exchange account”, which it describes as the account where bonuses turn into cash. The same bonus-reset rule as the 2000x account applies. IS6FX’s English page doesn’t set out the conversion terms, so check them in My Page before choosing it.
  • ECN: for active traders who prefer a commission model. Fixed leverage (200:1 FX, 100:1 metals), $8 round turn per lot, a higher 50% stop-out, and no bonus.
  • Crypto: everything on Standard plus 59 cryptocurrencies, on MT5, with crypto leverage set by trade size (up to 1000:1 on small BTC, ETH, XRP, LTC and BCH trades).

Things the page doesn’t tell you

  • Spreads. IS6FX’s spread page shows a reference table without stating its unit, so we don’t compare accounts on spread there. Ask support for the typical EUR/USD spread on the account you want, in pips. Background: spread basics.
  • An extra account in the FAQ. IS6FX’s leverage FAQ mentions a “Pro Zero” account that isn’t on the account types page, and the inactivity FAQ mentions “professional accounts”. We list only the six accounts on the account page.

Changing accounts

You can’t change the account type of an existing account, and IS6FX says leverage can’t be altered. To use a different account, open an additional one from My Page; IS6FX allows up to 5. Its guidelines prohibit hedging between your accounts. See opening an IS6FX account and using multiple broker accounts.

Frequently asked questions

Which IS6FX account has the lowest cost?

IS6FX doesn't publish spreads in a form we could verify, so we can't rank them on cost. ECN is the only account with a stated commission ($8 per lot round turn); the others are commission-free with the cost built into the spread.

Which IS6FX account is for beginners?

The Micro account: 1 lot is 1,000 units, so 0.01 lots is just 10 units of currency. It isn't bonus-eligible.

Which accounts are on MT5 only?

The 2000x Leverage and Crypto accounts. The others run on MT4 or MT5.

Can I switch my IS6FX account type?

No. IS6FX says you can't change the type of an existing account; open an additional account of the type you want (up to 5 additional accounts).
