MYFX Markets is a trading name of MYFX GROUP LIMITED, regulated by the Seychelles FSA (licence SD202), and MYFX Group (Union of Comoros), licensed by the Anjouan Offshore Finance Authority (L15835/MYFX). It says client money is held in a segregated trust account with reputable financial institutions. Both licences are offshore, with no statutory compensation scheme; we found no negative balance protection policy on its English pages. Japan's FSA warned three MYFX companies in July 2026, and MYFX doesn't serve the US, EU, Australia, Canada or Japan.
The companies
From MYFX Markets’ footer and its regulation FAQ, read on 2 November 2026:
| Company | Regulator | Licence | Role |
|---|---|---|---|
| MYFX GROUP LIMITED (Seychelles, 8435863-1) | Financial Services Authority, Seychelles | SD202 | Provides services through myfxmarkets.com “under its own name and authorization” |
| MYFX Group (Union of Comoros) | Anjouan Offshore Finance Authority | L15835/MYFX | Trading name “MYFX Markets”; operates via myfxmarkets.com |
| MYFX Markets Pty Ltd | Not stated | n/a | Named as providing educational resources |
| Milsons Fintech Ltd (England and Wales, 11510891) | Not stated | n/a | Named without a role |
Both licensed companies say they operate through the same domain, so check which one your client agreement names: that’s the company your money sits with.
What these licences do and don’t protect
Seychelles FSA (SD202): a securities dealer licence from an offshore regulator, with far lighter supervision than the EU, UK or Australia, with no investor compensation fund for clients: Seychelles FSA explained.
Anjouan (L15835/MYFX): one of the lightest licensing regimes; it puts a named company behind the brand but offers little external protection.
Neither brings EU-style leverage caps or a statutory compensation scheme. Compare tiers in broker licences explained.
Client money
MYFX’s security FAQ says client deposits are kept separate from its operational accounts in a segregated trust account held with reputable financial institutions. It doesn’t name the institution, the jurisdiction of the account or any auditor. Without a strong regulator enforcing it, treat segregation as the broker’s own policy: segregated funds and client protection.
Negative balance protection: not found
We didn’t find a negative balance protection policy on MYFX’s English pages. Its general risk warning says leveraged products “can lead to losses that exceed your initial investment”. MYFX closes positions from a 50% margin level and stops out at 20%, which limits but doesn’t remove that risk in a fast market: MYFX Markets leverage and negative balance protection explained.
Regulator warning
Japan’s Financial Services Agency lists MYFX Markets Pty Ltd, MYFX Group (Union of Comoros) and MYFX GROUP LIMITED (service name “MYFX Markets”) among unregistered overseas firms it warned in July 2026 for soliciting Japanese residents (FSA list of unregistered firms). MYFX’s own footer says it isn’t regulated by Japan’s FSA and its site isn’t intended for residents of Japan. The warning isn’t a finding of fraud, but it shows how one major regulator views the group: Japan’s FSA warning list explained.
Who MYFX doesn’t serve
