Verdict

MYFX Markets is a small offshore broker with no minimum deposit on its main accounts, a commission-based Pro account, and a 50% welcome bonus. Its licences are in Seychelles and Anjouan (Comoros).

Good for: small first deposits; commission-based traders (Pro from 0.0 pips); new clients who want a modest bonus.

Not for: residents of the US, EU, Australia, Canada or Japan; traders who need a major regulator.

Company and licences

From myfxmarkets.com’s footer:

Company Regulator Licence
MYFX Group Limited (Seychelles, company 8435863-1) Financial Services Authority, Seychelles SD202
MYFX Group (Union of Comoros) Anjouan Offshore Finance Authority L15835/MYFX

Both say they operate via myfxmarkets.com. The footer also names Milsons Fintech Ltd, a company in England and Wales, without describing its role. Not served: the US, Australia, Canada, the EU, Iran, North Korea, Belize and Russia; further restrictions apply to a list of other countries. A notice says the companies aren’t regulated by Japan’s FSA and the site isn’t for Japanese residents.

What these licences protect: supervision by an offshore regulator. What they don’t: EU/UK compensation schemes or leverage caps. An Anjouan licence is among the lightest regimes. See the Seychelles FSA guide and broker licences explained.

Leverage and margin

From the margin and leverage page: maximum 1,000:1 on FX, with limits set by available margin. Margin call below 90%; positions start being closed, largest loss first, below 50%; the stop-out level is 20%. Its FAQ adds the thresholds: 1,000:1 up to a $7,000 margin balance, 500:1 above that, and 400:1 above $50,000; oil and indices are capped at 100:1 and crypto at 5:1. Details: MYFX Markets leverage.

Funding and withdrawals

MYFX Markets lists its deposit and withdrawal methods, with each one’s fees and processing times, in its FAQ and the Client Office. As at most offshore brokers, pay from an account in your own name, expect withdrawals to go back to the method you deposited with, and make a small test withdrawal before funding the account fully. More: MYFX Markets withdrawals.

Bonus

From the welcome bonus page:

  • 50% of your first deposit, up to $400, on Standard or Pro (MT4 or MT5)
  • For new clients making a first deposit; opt in under the promotion terms in the Client Office
  • Credited within 1–2 business days
  • Excluded: corporate, MAM/PAMM, Micro, copy-trading and incubation accounts

The page links the full T&Cs, which set what a withdrawal does to the bonus; read them before opting in. MYFX also runs a refer-a-friend reward (¥8,000 each when conditions are met). See how bonus rules work.

Risks to weigh

  • Both licences are offshore (Seychelles and Anjouan), with no investor compensation scheme
  • A withdrawal can reduce or remove the welcome bonus, depending on the T&Cs
  • Check the FSA Seychelles register entry for SD202 before depositing

Bottom line

MYFX Markets is a low-entry offshore option with a small welcome bonus and a reasonably priced Pro account. Check your country isn’t on its restricted list, and test a withdrawal early.

On the bonus: at 50% up to $400, a deposit of $800 earns the full $400, and anything above that earns nothing extra. As with most deposit bonuses, expect it to shrink or disappear when you take money out, so plan withdrawals around it. Remember too that both licences are offshore (Seychelles and Anjouan), with no investor compensation scheme behind them.
