To open a MYFX Markets account, click Open Account on myfxmarkets.com and complete the registration form (name, e-mail, country of residence and an optional IB code). MYFX says it takes about 3 minutes and you receive your login details instantly. For verification you need a valid ID, a proof of address and, in some cases, financial documents. Then choose Standard, Pro or Micro, opt in to the welcome bonus if you want it, and deposit. Residents or citizens of the US, Australia, Canada, the EU, Iran, North Korea, Belize and Russia can't open an account, and the site isn't intended for residents of Japan.
Can you open one?
MYFX Markets’ footer, read on 2 November 2026, says its companies don’t provide services to residents or citizens of the United States, Australia, Canada, the European Union, Iran, North Korea, Belize and Russia. Additional restrictions apply to people located in or associated with Albania, Barbados, Burkina Faso, Cambodia, the Cayman Islands, Haiti, Jamaica, Malta, Mauritius, Myanmar, Nicaragua, Panama, Senegal, South Sudan, Syria, Yemen and Zimbabwe. A separate notice says the companies aren’t regulated by Japan’s FSA and the site isn’t intended for residents of Japan. You must be 18 or of legal age in your country.
Who you’ll contract with
The footer names MYFX GROUP LIMITED (Seychelles, incorporation 8435863-1), regulated by the Seychelles FSA (SD202), and MYFX Group (Union of Comoros), licensed by the Anjouan Offshore Finance Authority (L15835/MYFX). Both “operate via” myfxmarkets.com, so check which company your client agreement names: is MYFX Markets safe?.
Step by step
1. Register. Click Open Account on myfxmarkets.com and complete the form: first and last name (and a representative’s name for a corporate account), e-mail, IB code if you were referred, and country of residence. MYFX says it takes about 3 minutes and that you receive your login details instantly. If you use a webmail provider, add @myfxmarkets.com to your safe-sender list so the e-mails arrive.
2. Verify. MYFX’s account setup FAQ lists a valid ID, a proof of address and, in some cases, additional financial documentation. Upload them in the Client Office. Make sure your name and address match the registration exactly; mismatches are the usual cause of delays.
3. Choose an account.
| Account | Platform | Spreads from | Commission | Max leverage |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Standard | MT4, MT5 | 1.0 pips | None | 1000:1 (balance up to $7,000) |
| Pro | MT4, MT5 | 0.0 pips | $7 per lot | 500:1 |
| Micro | MT4 | 1.0 pips | None | 500:1 |
Standard and Pro can be held in USD, JPY, AUD, GBP or EUR; Micro in USD with 1,000-unit lots. Compare them on MYFX Markets account types.
4. Opt in to the bonus (optional). If you want the 50% welcome bonus up to $400, agree to its terms in the Client Office before your first deposit. It applies to Standard and Pro only: MYFX Markets bonus.
5. Deposit. In the Client Office, go to Account Transaction → Deposit. MYFX’s FAQ gives a $200 minimum, though the account page lists $0 for Standard and Pro: MYFX Markets deposits.
6. Log in to MT4 or MT5 with the account number, password and server MYFX sends you: MT4 vs MT5.
The IB code field
The form explains that the IB number identifies who introduced you. Enter it only if a referrer gave you one; it’s required for MAM/PAMM accounts. If an IB code would change your trading conditions, ask MYFX support in writing before you register.
Practise first
MYFX’s demo runs on the MYFX-US01-Demo server for MT4 (choose STD or PRO), and demos are extended by 90 days each time you log in. MYFX’s Japanese FAQ also says EAs, scalping and hedging are permitted, so a demo is a good place to test an EA first.
