Titan FX's international clients are served by Titan FX Limited, regulated by the Vanuatu Financial Services Commission (company no. 40313). Titan FX also lists group companies licensed in the BVI and Mauritius. It says client funds are segregated and reconciled daily, its accounts are audited, and negative balances are reset to zero. Vanuatu is an offshore regulator: there is no EU or UK-style compensation scheme.
Who you are dealing with
| Company | Regulator | Number |
|---|---|---|
| Titan FX Limited | Vanuatu Financial Services Commission (VFSC) | Company no. 40313 |
| Atlantic Markets Limited | BVI Financial Services Commission | Licence SIBA/L/23/1124 |

These are listed on Titan FX’s regulation page. The website footer names Titan FX Limited in Port Vila, Vanuatu as the regulated company, and EG Services (CY) Limited (Cyprus, HE430741) as a payment-services facilitator. Titan FX’s public pages don’t say which of the three companies holds your account if you live in Korea or elsewhere, so check the company named in your client agreement when you open.
What Titan FX says about your money
- Segregation: client funds are held in client segregated accounts, separate from operational funds, and never used for company purposes. There is a segregated account for each base currency.
- Daily reconciliation: Titan FX settles with the segregated accounts daily; the segregated balance includes clients’ unrealised profits.
- Banks: “reputable, top tier banks in highly regulated jurisdictions”. It doesn’t name them publicly.
- Audit: financial reports audited by DFK Collins Pty Ltd.
- Insurance: through Howden, with Antares (Lloyd’s Syndicate 1274) as lead insurer: professional indemnity up to USD 500,000 and directors’ and officers’ liability up to USD 2.5 million. This covers claims against the company, not your balance.
- Dispute body: Titan FX says it is a member of The Financial Commission.
Negative balance protection
Titan FX’s help centre says a margin call is sent at a 90% margin level and positions are closed at 20%. If sudden moves still leave the account negative, Titan FX resets it to zero after the next business day. Its trade operations team checks each case and may refuse if it finds the system is being abused or misused. More: zero-cut guide.
What an offshore licence does and doesn’t protect
It does: put a named, supervised company behind your account, subject to licensing conditions and identity checks.
It doesn’t: give you EU, UK or Australian leverage caps, capital rules or a statutory compensation scheme. Titan FX itself doesn’t serve Australia or New Zealand residents. Disputes run under Vanuatu (or BVI or Mauritius) rules; the Financial Commission membership is an extra route, not a government guarantee.
