IronFX's regulated companies are Notesco Financial Services Ltd (CySEC 125/10) for the EU, with approved domains ironfx.eu and fxlift.eu, and Notesco UK Ltd (FCA 585561) for the UK, at ironfx.co.uk. Both are on their regulators' registers. International accounts are held outside the EU and UK, with Notesco (BVI) Ltd according to TradingFinder, and don't get EU or UK protection. The international site ironfx.com was not reachable on 31 October 2026.
Who you are dealing with
Checked on the regulators’ own registers on 31 October 2026:
| Company | Regulator | Licence / ref. | Status | Website(s) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Notesco Financial Services Ltd | CySEC (Cyprus) | 125/10, licensed 16 November 2010 | Listed as a Cypriot investment firm | www.ironfx.eu, www.fxlift.eu (approved domains) |
| Notesco UK Ltd | FCA (UK) | 585561 | Authorised since 17 June 2013 | www.ironfx.co.uk |
| Notesco Financial Services Ltd | FCA (UK) | 541486 | No longer authorised | (formerly ironfx.eu, ironfx.tv) |
Both companies appear on their regulators’ registers: the CySEC register entry (previous names: IronFX Global Limited, IronFX Limited) and the FCA register. The UK site’s footer states “IronFX is a trade name of Notesco UK Limited”, FCA No. 585561.
The international site is offline
On 31 October 2026, public DNS for ironfx.com and www.ironfx.com returned 127.0.0.1, so the site couldn’t load. The EU and UK sites resolved normally. Clients outside the EU and UK deal with Notesco (BVI) Ltd, which TradingFinder lists as offering up to 1,000:1 on Standard accounts, a $100 minimum deposit and non-withdrawable deposit bonuses. None of those terms come under CySEC or FCA rules.
If you hold an international IronFX account, contact IronFX through a channel you already used before (your registered email, the client agreement’s contact details), not through a new domain from search results or ads.
What the EU and UK licences protect
For EU clients of the CySEC company: MiFID II rules, retail leverage caps, negative balance protection and access to the Cyprus Investor Compensation Fund, within its limits.
For UK clients of the FCA company: FCA conduct rules, client-money rules, and possibly the Financial Ombudsman Service and FSCS. The FCA register itself notes that not every activity is covered, so check with the firm.
For everyone else: these protections apply only if your contract is with one of those companies. An account opened through ironfx.com would normally be with a different, non-EU company. See offshore vs regulated brokers and fund protection explained.

- Whether a new or temporary IronFX domain is official: only a domain a regulator lists for your company counts
- The FCA warning list, for any IronFX-like name, before using a new domain
Practical steps
- Use only domains that a regulator lists for the company you contract with.
- Never move money because of a call, message or ad pointing you to a “new IronFX site”: scam check guide.
- If a withdrawal is stuck, see withdrawal refusal: what to do.
