bitcastleFX doesn't say it accepts clients outside Japan, so treat these figures as reference. Its Japanese account page quotes spreads from 1.1 pips on Standard and from 0.1 pips on Emperor, with no commission on either. For Emperor, its Japanese homepage lists USD/JPY from 0.5 pips, gold from 1 pip, BTC/USD from 120 and BTC/JPY from 300. All are minimums; bitcastleFX publishes no averages.
Eligibility note
bitcastleFX publishes its FX service only in Japanese, with yen accounts, and doesn’t state that it accepts clients outside Japan. Japan’s Financial Services Agency warned its operator in April 2025: is bitcastleFX safe?. The spreads below are from its Japanese pages, read on 31 October 2026.
Published spreads by account
| Account | Spread from | Commission |

Emperor spreads on the homepage
bitcastleFX’s Japanese FX homepage lists these Emperor spreads:
| Instrument | Spread |
|---|---|
| USD/JPY | from 0.5 pips |
| Gold (XAU/USD) | from 1 pip |
| BTC/USD | from 120 pips |
| BTC/JPY | from 300 pips |
Every figure is a “from” minimum, and the page notes that spreads move with exchange rates. No averages are published. bitcastleFX’s spreads and conditions page shows current values and swaps per account in a live table, which we don’t quote as fixed numbers.
Why “from” spreads are hard to compare
A minimum tells you the best moment, not the typical cost. Brokers that publish average spreads per account let you calculate a realistic cost per lot; bitcastleFX doesn’t, so its 0.1-pip and 1.1-pip figures can’t be set against other brokers’ averages. The only fair way to compare is to watch both accounts’ live quotes in MT5 at the times you trade. Background: spread basics.
When spreads widen
bitcastleFX trades Monday 00:00 to Friday 24:00 server time (GMT+3, GMT+2 in winter). As at most brokers, spreads tend to widen in thin markets: around the New York close, right after the weekly open and around major data releases. Costs at those times can be well above the published minimums. See news trading.
Choosing between Standard and Emperor
On the published minimums, Emperor is a full pip tighter and neither account charges commission. The trade-off is bonuses: the main deposit bonuses and the ¥15,000 sign-up bonus are for Standard accounts. So the choice is between extra margin (Standard) and lower spreads (Emperor): bitcastleFX account types and bitcastleFX bonus.
Other costs

- ¥1,500 a month on accounts with no login for 90 days
