iFOREX Spreads by Account: EUR/USD, Gold and BTC

Updated 2 November 2026 · Written by Broker Atlas Broker Reviews Desk · Data checked by Broker Atlas Data Desk

Short answer

iFOREX doesn't publish spread figures on its international site: each instrument's spread is built into the price shown in the deal ticket and varies with market conditions. It charges no commission on any instrument, so the spread is the trading cost, plus overnight financing (a mark-up from 0.75% a year on currency pairs) on positions held overnight. Other costs: a $15 quarterly inactivity fee after 12 months and $20 for international wire withdrawals.

The spread: the gap between buy and sell: EUR/USD Sell (bid) 1.10000, Buy (ask) 1.10011, Spread 1.1 pips, Cost on 1 lot: $11
iFOREX's EUR/USD spread is 1.1 pips, so 1 lot costs about $11 the moment it opens (1 pip = $10 on 1 lot).
iFOREX trading cost: 1 lot of EUR/USD: Standard account $11, No raw-spread account
What 1 lot of EUR/USD costs at iFOREX: $11 on the standard account (no raw-spread account). 1 pip = $10.

No published spreads

iFOREX’s pricing page, read on 2 November 2026, lists every asset class (currencies, commodities, shares, indices, ETFs and crypto) with commission: free and spread: in the deal ticket, “per market conditions”. It explains that the spread is built into the instrument’s price, so the price you see already includes it: “no hidden fees”, but also no figures to compare in advance.

Its trading conditions page gives only an illustration: USD/JPY at 101.202 / 101.222 is a 2-pip spread. That’s a teaching example, not a current or typical spread.

So we can’t quote an iFOREX spread for EUR/USD, USD/JPY or gold. The only way to know is to read the deal ticket, ideally on the $5,000 demo at the times you’d trade. Background: spread basics.

Overnight financing

Leveraged positions held at the end of the trading day are debited or credited. iFOREX’s formula for a long position is −(other-currency rate − base-currency rate + mark-up) ÷ 360; the mark-up starts at 0.75% for currency pairs and can differ between long and short. In its EUR/USD example (rates of −0.37% and 1.08%), 100,000 EUR long costs $6.51 a day and short earns $2.07. Instruments traded five days a week are charged three times on the last day of the week. Current rates are in the platform under Tools → Market Info. For long-held trades, financing can outweigh the spread: swap explained and the swap calculator.

Execution and slippage

Market orders fill at the server price and are rejected if it differs substantially from your screen price. Limit orders can slip in either direction (“symmetrical slippage”), especially on shares and indices that gap at the open. iFOREX also lists scalping, EAs and API trading among practices it doesn’t allow, so tight-spread scalping strategies aren’t a fit.

How it compares

Brokers that publish average spreads per account let you calculate cost per lot before you open an account; iFOREX doesn’t. If spread transparency matters to you, compare the lowest-spread brokers or ECN brokers. For iFOREX’s margin rules, see iFOREX leverage. Back to the iFOREX review.
