How to Open a bitcastleFX Account, From Sign-Up to Verification

Updated 31 October 2026 · Written by Broker Atlas Broker Reviews Desk · Data checked by Broker Atlas Data Desk

Short answer

bitcastleFX doesn't say it accepts clients outside Japan: its sign-up form defaults nationality and residence to Japan, asks for names in kanji and katakana, and is published only in Japanese. If you're eligible, the steps on its Japanese help centre are: quick registration, confirm by e-mail, log in with a device code, upload an ID and complete a face check. You can deposit once your account reaches Level 4 (approved). Turn off any VPN and enter details exactly as on your ID.

Eligibility: check this before registering

bitcastleFX’s FX service is published only in Japanese, with yen accounts. Its registration form defaults nationality and residence to Japan and asks for your name in kanji and katakana. It lists countries whose residents it won’t serve, including the United States, China, Vietnam, Russia, Iran and North Korea, but it never says it accepts residents outside Japan.

If you don’t live in Japan, ask bitcastleFX’s support in writing whether your country is accepted before registering or depositing. Also weigh the regulator warning: Japan’s Financial Services Agency warned the operator, bitcastle LLC, in April 2025, and no financial licence is named on its site: is bitcastleFX safe?.

The five steps (as published in Japanese)

From bitcastleFX’s Japanese registration-to-verification guide, read on 31 October 2026:

1. Quick registration. Enter your e-mail and password, platform (MT4 or MT5; the help centre said only MT5 was selectable as of 29 April 2025), account currency (JPY), account type (Standard, Pro/Emperor or AI investment), leverage, nationality and residence, name in kanji and katakana, date of birth, phone number, and a campaign code if you have one. You can add other account types later: bitcastleFX account types.

2. Confirm by e-mail. Click the “complete registration” link in the provisional-registration e-mail. A welcome e-mail with your FX account number and password follows; use these to log in to MT5.

3. Log in. On a new device, you’ll receive an e-mailed authentication code.

4. Verify your identity. Under “Account information → Account level”, choose a personal account, enter your details, accept the privacy terms, choose the document’s issuing country and type, upload it (from a computer or by switching to your phone via QR code), then allow camera access for a face check.

5. Wait for approval. Your status moves through these levels:

Level Status
2 Registered with e-mail, no documents
3 Documents submitted, under review
4 Approved: you can deposit

Why verification fails

  • Details that don’t match your ID exactly (a rejection also blocks withdrawals until fixed)
  • Uploading a different document from the type you selected
  • A VPN switched on: bitcastleFX tells applicants to turn it off first
  • False information, which can lead to the account being frozen

A rejection e-mail includes a link to resubmit.

Documents at withdrawal

When you withdraw, bitcastleFX may ask for a proof of address issued within 3 months: a residence certificate, a utility bill, a bank or card statement, or an official document. If you live outside Japan, check in advance that it will accept your local documents. Withdrawal rules: bitcastleFX withdrawals.

After approval

If you’re outside Japan

Brokers that publish which countries they accept, in English, are simpler to open and easier to hold to account. Start with brokers for beginners or the safest brokers list, and read how to spot a scam broker. Back to the bitcastleFX review.

Frequently asked questions

Can I open a bitcastleFX account if I don't live in Japan?

bitcastleFX doesn't say so. It lists countries it won't serve (including the US, China, Vietnam, Russia, Iran and North Korea), but never states that it accepts residents elsewhere. Get written confirmation from support first.

What do I need to open a bitcastleFX account?

An e-mail address, a phone number, an identity document you can upload after choosing its issuing country and type, and a camera for the face check. A proof of address may be requested at withdrawal.

Why would bitcastleFX reject my verification?

Details that don't match your ID, uploading a different document from the type you selected, or using a VPN. A rejection e-mail includes a link to resubmit. False information can get the account frozen.

Where are my MT5 login details?

In the welcome e-mail with your FX account details, sent once registration is confirmed.
