bitcastleFX doesn't say it accepts clients outside Japan: its FX service is published only in Japanese, accounts are in yen and its sign-up bonus requires Japanese nationality. On its Japanese site it offers three accounts, all with a ¥500 minimum deposit and no commission: Standard (from 1.1 pips, up to 1000:1, stop-out 30%), Emperor (from 0.1 pips, up to 3000:1, stop-out 20%) and an AI investment account traded automatically. Most deposit bonuses apply to Standard only.
First: is bitcastleFX open to you?
bitcastleFX doesn’t state that it accepts clients outside Japan. Its FX pages are in Japanese only (the English FX address returns “page not found”), accounts are held in Japanese yen, and the ¥15,000 sign-up bonus is limited to Japanese nationals. Its risk warning lists countries it won’t serve, including the United States, China, Vietnam, Russia, Iran and North Korea, but not being on that list isn’t the same as being accepted. Japan’s Financial Services Agency also warned its operator, bitcastle LLC, in April 2025: see is bitcastleFX safe?.
The account details below come from bitcastleFX’s Japanese site and are for reference.
The three accounts
From bitcastleFX’s Japanese account types page, read on 31 October 2026:
| Standard | Emperor | AI investment | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Minimum deposit | ¥500 | ¥500 | ¥500 |
| Spread from | 1.1 pips | 0.1 pips | n/a |
| Commission | None | None | None |
| Max leverage | 1000:1 | 3000:1 | Set by the AI |
| Margin call | 50% | 30% | n/a |
| Stop-out | 30% | 20% | n/a |
| Instruments | FX, metals, crypto, commodities, indices, energy | Same | Gold and Bitcoin |
| Trading | You trade on MT4/MT5 | You trade on MT4/MT5 | AI trades automatically |
The account currency is yen and the number of open positions is listed as unlimited on both trading accounts. bitcastleFX’s help centre says neither Standard nor Emperor charges a trading commission: the costs are spread and swap.
Choosing between them
Standard: if you want the bonuses. The ¥15,000 sign-up bonus and the tiered deposit bonus (up to 160% of cumulative deposits, more during campaigns) are both for Standard accounts. Bonus credit works as extra margin, which bitcastleFX calls a “cushion”: it delays stop-out but isn’t withdrawable. See bitcastleFX bonus.
Emperor: if spread and leverage matter more. Spreads start at 0.1 pips with no commission, FX leverage reaches 3000:1, and stop-out is lower at 20%. The 3,000:1 maximum only applies while equity is under ¥200,000; it then steps down to 2000:1, 1000:1 and lower: bitcastleFX leverage. Emperor is excluded from the main deposit bonuses.
AI investment: if you don’t want to trade yourself. You hand over trading decisions entirely; no manual orders or EAs.
bitcastleFX publishes only “from” spreads, not averages, so the real gap between Standard and Emperor can’t be measured from its public pages: bitcastleFX spreads.
Rules that cut across accounts
- Transfers delete bonus credit. Moving money from a bonus-holding account to another of your accounts removes all bonus credit in the source account.
- Leverage changes need a flat account. You must close every position before changing leverage.
- Withdrawals delete bonus credit, whatever the amount: bitcastleFX withdrawals.
Alternatives with clearer eligibility
If you live outside Japan, compare brokers that state they accept your country and publish a licence: account types explained, cent account brokers for small balances, or high-leverage brokers. Back to the bitcastleFX review.

Frequently asked questions
Can I open a bitcastleFX account from outside Japan?
bitcastleFX doesn't say. It lists countries it won't serve but never states that it accepts residents outside Japan, and its FX pages exist only in Japanese. Get written confirmation from its support before depositing.
What's the difference between Standard and Emperor?
Spread (from 1.1 pips vs from 0.1 pips), maximum leverage (1000:1 vs 3,000:1) and stop-out (30% vs 20%). Neither charges commission. The main deposit bonuses are for Standard accounts only.
Can I trade manually on the AI investment account?
No. The AI trades automatically and sets leverage itself; manual trading and EAs aren't available, and depositing counts as accepting the AI's decisions.
Can I add another account type later?
Yes. bitcastleFX's Japanese help centre says you can open other account types after registering, whichever you chose first.
