Updated 31 October 2026 · Written by Broker Atlas Broker Reviews Desk · Data checked by Broker Atlas Data Desk

Short answer

International clients of M4Markets deal with Trinota Markets (Global) Ltd, licensed by the Seychelles FSA (SD035). It offers five account types from a $5 minimum deposit, a Dynamic Leverage account up to 5,000:1 on small FX positions, and a 50% credit bonus on every deposit up to $10,000. It states negative balance protection for retail clients. The group's CySEC and DFSA licences cover other companies, not the Seychelles account.

Where M4Markets sits among 27 brokers: Max leverage 1:5,000 (#2 of 27), EUR/USD spread 1.6 pips (#21 of 27), Min deposit $5 (#8 of 27), Stop-out level 20% (#4 of 27)
Each dot is a broker we list; the blue dot is M4Markets. Further right is better for the trader (higher leverage; lower spread, minimum deposit and stop-out level).

Verdict: high leverage and a recurring bonus, offshore protection

M4Markets packs a lot into its international offer: a $5 entry point, a Dynamic Leverage account that reaches 5,000:1 on small FX positions, raw-spread accounts with commission, and a 50% credit bonus on every deposit. The trade-off is the licence: the company you actually sign with is regulated in Seychelles, not by CySEC or the DFSA.

Good for

  • Small accounts (the Standard and Dynamic accounts start at $5)
  • Traders who want very high leverage on small positions
  • Deposit-bonus users who keep topping up (the 50% applies to each deposit)
  • Commission-based traders who want raw spreads (Raw Spread and Premium)

Not for

  • Anyone who needs EU-style investor compensation or leverage caps
  • Traders who want one simple account: the five types differ a lot
  • Large positions on the Dynamic account, where leverage drops quickly with size

Company and licence

The M4Markets footer describes the brand as a co-brand shared by several companies. For international clients, the relevant one is Trinota Markets (Global) Limited, registration 8425037-1, regulated as a Securities Dealer by the Financial Services Authority of Seychelles under licence SD035.

The other group companies serve different clients:

Company Regulator Licence
Trinota Markets (Global) Ltd FSA Seychelles SD035
Harindale Ltd CySEC (Cyprus) 301/16
Oryx Finance Ltd DFSA (Dubai) F007051

The CySEC register lists Harindale Ltd with the trade name M4Markets and only m4markets.eu as an approved domain. So the CySEC licence applies to the EU site, not to an account opened through m4markets.com.

What the Seychelles licence does: it puts a supervised, named company behind your account, with KYC rules and segregated client accounts (M4Markets says client funds are held in segregated accounts under FSA rules). What it doesn’t do: it doesn’t bring the EU’s 1:30 leverage cap, the Cyprus Investor Compensation Fund or the UK’s FSCS. M4Markets also advertises a fund insurance policy of up to USD 1,000,000 underwritten through Lloyd’s; we could not read the policy terms, so treat it as a broker statement. Accounts and costs

Account Minimum deposit Spread from Commission (FX, metals) Max leverage Stop-out
Standard $5 1.1 pips $0 1000:1 20%
Raw Spread $500 0.0 pips $7 500:1 40%
Premium $10,000 0.0 pips $5 500:1 40%
Dynamic Leverage $5 1.6 pips $0 5000:1 30%
Cent $5 1.6 pips $0 1000:1 20%

All accounts have a 100% margin call level and a swap-free option. Base currencies are USD, EUR and JPY on most accounts; the Dynamic account is USD only and the Cent account USD or JPY. The commission figures come from the account page; M4Markets doesn’t say there whether $7 is per lot round turn or per side, so check the platform’s contract details before trading.

M4Markets’ spreads page publishes minimum and average spreads per account. For EUR/USD it shows an average of 1.6 pips on Standard and 0.4 pips on Raw Spread and Premium (before commission). See M4Markets spreads and account types compared.

Leverage on the Dynamic account depends on position size: 5,000:1 on FX majors up to 1 lot, 2000:1 above 1 lot, 1000:1 above 2 lots, down to 10:1 above 500 lots. Gold starts at 3000:1 up to 0.5 lots. Details: M4Markets leverage.

Funding and withdrawals

M4Markets lists bank wire, Visa, Mastercard, Skrill, Neteller, local online banking, Sticpay, UnionPay, local depositors, Boleto and PIX, with no deposit fee from M4Markets. Methods vary by country. Your first deposit needs approval of your payment details before it goes through.

Withdrawals are usually processed within 24 working hours; e-wallets show as instant, cards and wire 1–5 business days. Deposited funds go back to the original method first, and a 3% fee applies if you withdraw without any trading after a deposit. See M4Markets deposits and withdrawals.

Bonus

The credit bonus page offers 50% on each deposit to a verified account, up to $10,000 of bonus. It’s credit: it boosts your free margin, and moves to your withdrawable balance as you trade ($2 per lot on Standard, $1 per lot on Raw Spread and Premium). There’s no public no-deposit bonus. Full rules and a worked example: M4Markets bonus.

Risks and open questions

  • Offshore licence. Protection depends on the Seychelles regime. The FSA’s register entry for SD035 is the place to confirm the licence; we relied on M4Markets’ own pages and the CySEC register for this review.
  • Bonus terms. The full credit-bonus terms are a PDF we didn’t review in full; the summary above is from the bonus web page.
  • Commission basis. Whether the $7 and $5 commissions are per side or round turn isn’t stated on the account page.
  • Insurance. The Lloyd’s fund insurance terms (who is covered, which events) weren’t published on the pages we read.

Bottom line

M4Markets is a flexible offshore broker for small accounts and bonus users, with unusually high leverage on small positions. Just remember that you’re a client of a Seychelles company, so open small, verify early and test a withdrawal after some trading.
