The short answer

Titan FX is the more predictable choice: fixed, published leverage per account and a simple three-account line-up. XS.com is more flexible, with five accounts from cent to Elite, swap-free trading and slightly tighter pricing.

1. Leverage

Titan FX publishes fixed leverage per account: 2000:1 on Zero Micro and 1000:1 on Zero Standard and Blade for major FX, with lower limits on some instruments (500:1, 100:1 or 50:1).

XS.com: 1000:1 with no minimum deposit, 2000:1 with a $500 minimum, and it’s dynamic, so leverage falls as your position grows. That makes margin harder to predict. Run the numbers: margin calculator.

2. Accounts

Titan FX: Zero Standard (STP, no commission, EUR/USD about 1.2 pips), Zero Blade (ECN, about 0.2 pips plus $3.5 per 100k per side) and Zero Micro (no minimum, 2000:1). XS.com: Cent, Micro, Standard, Pro and Elite. XS Standard averages about 1.1 pips on EUR/USD and Elite about 0.1 pips plus $6 round trip. For practising with tiny sizes, XS.com’s cent account is the clearer option; for frequent trading the two are close on cost. See cent accounts and ECN brokers.

3. Trading rules

Titan FX says all strategies are allowed: scalping, hedging and EAs. XS.com allows scalping and EAs too. Both stop out at 20%.

4. Licence

Titan FX Limited: Vanuatu FSC, registration 40313. XS.com: XS Ltd, Seychelles FSA SD089, operates www.xs.com; the group’s ASIC, CySEC, FSCA, LFSA, FSC Mauritius and UAE CMA licences belong to separate companies. Vanuatu and Seychelles are offshore licences with limited protection, whatever names appear elsewhere in the group. Safest brokers explains how to check.

5. Bonus, swap-free and withdrawals

Neither has a deposit bonus; XS.com runs the XS Trading Miles loyalty scheme instead. XS.com offers swap-free accounts; Titan FX doesn’t. Titan FX says withdrawals are normally processed within one business day, bank wires take 2–3 business days, and there’s a 4% fee if the account never traded. XS.com says withdrawals are typically processed within 24 hours, including weekends, with no XS fee.
