The short answer

Both are bonus-led offshore brokers with very high leverage, so the choice comes down to how you deposit and how much you value a clear contracting company. M4Markets rewards regular top-ups and names the company you sign with. BigBoss front-loads a larger bonus and keeps high leverage on bigger positions.

1. Leverage: peak versus usable

M4Markets’ Dynamic Leverage account reaches 5000:1, but only on FX majors up to 1 lot; it falls to 2000:1 above 1 lot and keeps dropping with size. Its Standard account offers 1000:1, Raw Spread and Premium 500:1.

BigBoss offers up to 2222:1 on Deluxe and OMEGA, and 1111:1 on Standard and Pro Spread while your total balance is under $20,000. Exotics, indices, commodities, crypto and stock CFDs have much lower fixed limits.

For a trader opening one or two lots, M4Markets’ Dynamic account gives the most leverage. For anyone trading bigger size on major FX, BigBoss’s limits fall away more slowly. Check your margin with the margin calculator and compare on high-leverage brokers.

2. Bonus: one big programme or 50% every time

BigBoss runs a three-tier deposit bonus worth up to $13,840 in total (120% or 100% on the first $700, 30% up to $5,700, 20% up to $63,200), plus a 10% bonus on BBC deposits. It’s credit and can’t be withdrawn.

M4Markets gives 50% on each deposit to a verified account, up to $10,000 of bonus. The credit converts to withdrawable balance as you trade ($2 per lot on Standard). If you plan to deposit in several smaller amounts, M4Markets’ rule keeps paying; if you’ll make one large first deposit, BigBoss’s tiers are richer at the start. Rules compared: BigBoss bonus, M4Markets bonus.

3. Costs and accounts

M4Markets publishes average spreads: EUR/USD 1.6 pips on Standard and 0.4 pips on Raw Spread and Premium, before commission ($7 on Raw Spread, $5 on Premium; per side or round turn not stated). BigBoss’s Pro Spread account charges $4.5 per lot each way, but BigBoss doesn’t publish spread figures, so an all-in comparison isn’t possible. M4Markets has five accounts including a Cent account; BigBoss has four (OMEGA, Deluxe, Standard, Pro Spread). See M4Markets spreads and BigBoss account types.

4. Licence and the company you sign with

M4Markets names it: Trinota Markets (Global) Ltd, Seychelles FSA SD035. Its CySEC and DFSA licences belong to other group companies and don’t cover an m4markets.com account.

BigBoss lists Big Boss Ltd. (Comoros, Mohéli brokerage licence BFX2024045) and BigBoss Mauritius Limited (FSC Mauritius GB20025563), without saying which serves international clients. Both brokers’ licences are offshore: no EU leverage caps, no compensation scheme. Read broker licences explained.

5. Withdrawals

M4Markets says withdrawals are usually processed within 24 working hours, e-wallets instantly and cards or wire in 1–5 business days; a 3% fee applies if you withdraw without trading. BigBoss bank withdrawals usually take 2–5 working days after a $20 (¥2,000) bank fee.
