To open an EBC account: register on ebc.com with your email and phone, verify with the emailed code, complete identity verification (KYC) by uploading the front and back of a valid ID and signing the compliance documents, then create a Standard or Professional account and deposit. You must be over 18, and the ID mustn't expire within 6 months. Residents of the US, Canada, Malaysia, Iran, Iraq, Russia, Ukraine and other listed countries can't apply.
Before you start
- Check your country isn’t on EBC’s restricted list (see the FAQ above).
- Have a valid ID that won’t expire in the next 6 months.
- Know who you’re signing with: ebc.com accounts are with EBC Financial Group (SVG) LLC, not the UK or Australian companies. See is EBC safe?
Five steps
From EBC’s registration guide and KYC guide:
- Register. On ebc.com click “Register”, enter your details, request the verification code by email, enter it and set a password.
- Start verifying. In the User Centre, click Start Verifying and choose your country or region.
- Upload your ID, front and back (JPG, JPEG or PNG, up to 5MB). The accepted document types for your country are listed on screen.
- Check your details: name in Latin characters, full name as on the ID, gender, date of birth, document number and expiry date, plus your country and region of long-term residence.
- Sign the compliance documents. Once approved, create a trading account (Standard or Professional, MT4 or MT5) or a demo, and deposit.
EBC says the application form takes “as little as two minutes”. We didn’t find a stated approval time.

Why verification gets rejected
From EBC’s rejection reasons:
- Invalid document: expired, expiring within 6 months, damaged, stained or counterfeit.
- Mismatched or incomplete details compared with the document.
- Poor photo: blurred, dark, cropped edges, overlapping pages.
- Additional documents needed when one document can’t confirm your identity.
- Under 18.
Which account to pick
Standard (from 1.1 pips, no commission) for most new traders; Professional (from 0.0 pips, $6 per lot) for frequent traders. Compare: EBC account types.
Partner codes and MT4/MT5 login
- Partner codes: EBC sign-up links can carry a partner ID; we found no public client code that changes trading conditions. Check that links are genuine on EBC’s official channel verification page.
- Platform login: your MT4/MT5 account number and server appear in the User Centre after you create a trading account. EBC’s help centre has articles on choosing the right server and fixing “Invalid Account” errors.
