Opening an AMarkets account takes four steps: register a Personal Area, confirm your e-mail, confirm your phone number, then verify your identity by photographing your ID under My Profile → Documents. AMarkets says verification is required before you can deposit or trade. Then open a Standard ($100), ECN or Zero ($200) account and log in to MT4 or MT5. AMarkets doesn't serve citizens or residents of Japan, the UK, the US, Canada, New Zealand, Russia, the EU/EEA/EFTA and other listed countries.
Before you start
- Your country. AMarkets’ restricted countries page lists about 80 countries and territories whose citizens and/or residents it doesn’t serve, including Japan, the UK, the US, Canada, New Zealand, Russia and every EU/EEA/EFTA country (Switzerland and Norway included), plus many in Africa, Latin America and the Pacific. It says it may block the account of anyone who breaks this condition. South Korea, India and most of Southeast Asia aren’t on the list.
- Who you’ll sign with. AMarkets’ main company is AMarkets LTD, licensed in Mwali (Comoros) by the MISA, with group companies registered in the Cook Islands and St Vincent and the Grenadines. See is AMarkets safe?.
Step 1: register your Personal Area
Click Open account on amarkets.com and register with your e-mail address, phone number and a password. This creates your Personal Area, from which you open trading accounts, deposit and withdraw. You can also use the AMarkets app.
Step 2: confirm your e-mail and phone
From AMarkets’ after-registration FAQ:
- E-mail: find the message with the subject “confirmation code” and click Verify, or paste the code into your Personal Area. If it doesn’t arrive, go to My profile → Verify e-mail → Resend e-mail. You can correct the address with the pencil icon.
- Phone: only after the e-mail is confirmed. Reload the page, click Verify phone number under My profile, and enter the code sent to your phone.
Step 3: verify your identity
From AMarkets’ identity verification FAQ:
- Go to My Profile → Documents → Add Document.
- Choose Continue on this device (or Switch to mobile and scan the QR code with your phone).
- Click Take a picture, allow camera access, photograph the document and click Scan Document. Some documents need the back scanned too.
- Enter your personal details exactly as they appear on the ID.
Typos are the most common reason automated checks fail: match the spelling, date format and order of names on the document. AMarkets’ deposit FAQ says you can’t fund a trading account until verification is complete.
Step 4: open a trading account
Choose the account type and platform:

Step 5: fund and log in
- Deposit through Finance → Deposit in the Personal Area or the app. AMarkets says all deposits are fee-free; methods depend on your region: AMarkets deposits.

After opening
- To get the 100% bonus, contact support to activate it after your first deposit: AMarkets bonus.
- Withdrawals go back to the method you deposited with, in proportion: AMarkets withdrawals.
