Margin level and stop-out. Margin level = equity ÷ used margin × 100. Stop-out 20%

The line-up comes from Compare Forex Brokers’ review of HFM’s offshore company and matches other recent reviews. The Zero commission is the figure given by tr-mate’s account comparison and other account guides. Spreads are typical figures reported by review sites, not an official HFM average. EU accounts follow EU retail rules, including leverage caps and no bonuses, so we don’t use them to describe HFM’s international accounts.

How the accounts differ

  • Cent: balances shown in cents and small lot sizes, so you can trade live with a few dollars. A good first account for testing an EA or a strategy.
  • Premium: HFM’s standard spread-only account. Costs sit in the spread, so they’re easy to read.
  • Zero: raw spreads from 0.0 pips with a fixed commission. The cheapest choice for frequent traders.
  • Pro: a second spread-only account, with a $100 minimum.
  • InfinityX: the account with the highest entry point, $500.
  • Top-up Bonus: where offered, the only account that receives HFM’s 20% deposit bonus; leverage is capped at 1,000:1.

Islamic (swap-free) versions are available, and HFcopy copy trading runs from the client area. Our account types guide explains each of these terms. HFM’s group licences are on is HFM safe?.

Which account suits whom

  • Frequent traders and scalpers: Zero usually works out cheaper once volume is high, because the $6 commission is fixed while spread savings grow with every trade. The MT5 directory lists HFM as allowing scalping and hedging.
  • Occasional or small traders: Cent or Premium keep costs simple to read.
  • Bonus users: only the Top-up Bonus account receives the 20% bonus, so pick it at sign-up if the bonus matters. Details on HFM bonus.
