Getting a withdrawal through smoothly
- Finish verification before your first withdrawal request.
- Withdraw to a method in your own name. Like most brokers, HFM may send money back to your deposit method first, up to the amount deposited.

Withdrawing with open positions
Taking money out lowers your equity, and with it your margin level. Say equity is $1,000 and used margin is $200: the margin level is 500%. Withdraw $600 and equity falls to $400, so the margin level drops to 200%, and a smaller adverse move now reaches stop-out. Close positions first, or keep enough equity after the withdrawal.
