Verdict

Ultima Markets offers 2,000:1 leverage on every account, a $50 entry point, cent accounts and an MT5 “Ultimate” account with 0% stop-out and no swaps. Its protection is offshore: the company behind ultimamarkets.com is licensed in Mauritius, and the site says so plainly.

Good for: high-leverage traders; small accounts (cent options); ECN traders at $5 commission.

Not for: UK, US, Singapore or Hong Kong residents (not served); traders who assume the FCA licence protects them.

Company and licences

From ultimamarkets.com’s footer:

Company Regulator Licence Role
Ultima Markets (Mauritius) Ltd FSC Mauritius GB 23201593 Full-Service Investment Dealer; owns the site’s copyright and is the product provider
Ultima Markets (Pty) Ltd FSCA, South Africa FSP 52497 Intermediary only, between clients and the Mauritius company
Ultima Markets UK Limited FCA, UK 470325 UK; the UK site is ultima-markets.co.uk
Ultima Markets EU OÜ Estonia (registry 17134727) No licence Payment and support services; offers no regulated products

The site’s own notice is clear: it’s managed by Ultima Markets’ international entities, which are not regulated by the FCA, so international clients don’t get FCA protections (guaranteed negative balance protection, FCA leverage limits, the Financial Ombudsman or the FSCS). On CySEC’s register, the former Ultima Markets Cyprus company now appears as Huaprime EU Ltd (426/23), with huaprime.eu as its domain (register entry).

Not served: the United States, United Kingdom (via this site), Singapore, Hong Kong and sanctioned jurisdictions. See the FSC Mauritius guide.

The Ultimate account is described as swap-free with a 0% stop-out level. All accounts use market execution.

Funding and withdrawals

The deposits page lists methods in local currencies, e-wallets and crypto (BTC and USDT among them), most free with a minimum of 50 units of account currency and about 1 hour processing; bank transfers carry intermediary bank fees. The withdrawal tab on the same page gives each method’s time and fee; expect money to go back to the method you deposited with.

Bonus

The site’s menu lists a 20%, 50% and 150% deposit bonus, a $10 welcome reward, a welcome boost and loyalty schemes. The 20% and 50% offers add bonus credit to deposits, alongside seasonal welcome and prize campaigns. Each offer’s terms set its eligibility, cap and withdrawal rules, so read them before opting in: how bonus rules work.

Safety features

From the fund safety page: Financial Commission membership (compensation up to €20,000 per client, based on its rulings) and Excess of Loss insurance placed through Willis Towers Watson with Lloyd’s underwriters, with claims up to US$1,000,000, free and without opt-in. Insurance of this kind doesn’t cover trading losses.

Risks and open questions

  • Bonus terms and regional eligibility
  • Withdrawal times and fees
  • Negative balance protection for international clients (the site says it isn’t guaranteed under FCA rules; we didn’t find its offshore policy)

Bottom line

Ultima Markets is a high-leverage offshore broker with decent safety extras. Don’t mistake its UK licence for protection of an international account; your contract is with the Mauritius company.

An FSC Mauritius licence means the company is registered and supervised there, but there’s no compensation scheme like the UK’s for its clients. The Lloyd’s-placed insurance is an extra layer, but we couldn’t read its terms (insurer, eligible events, exclusions), and insurance of this kind isn’t a cover for trading losses. Treat it as a bonus, not a guarantee, and test a withdrawal early.

On costs, the ECN account’s $5 commission is 0.5 pips per standard lot on EUR/USD if charged per round trip, or 1 pip if charged per side; the contract specification or your first trade’s history tells you which. Compare that total with the spread on the commission-free accounts at the same moment, on the same pair, before choosing.

Compare: high-leverage brokers, cent account brokers.
